Welcome to Women For Wheels of SA

Women for Wheels of SA Inc was founded in May of 1971 when a group of “Racing Driver Wives” decided that a more professional approach was needed for trackside fire and rescue services. The result was the outfitting of a suitable vehicle to carry fire and rescue equipment to motorsport events in the Greater Adelaide Area.

With over 50 years’ experience and an active crew of over 40 members, we are able to provide Fire and Rescue Services at numerous events and we are involved in all the major forms of motor racing in South Australia.
